Kian Jalilian received his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University. He is currently an M.Sc. student in Artificial Intelligence at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, focusing on bioinformatics.

He researches diverse k-mer selection algorithms to improve the efficiency of downstream bioinformatics pipelines.
